  Some painful decisions
some tears in our eyes
  we cannot swap hearts
but now I know why

  Problems shall arise
as these things unfold
  your past has comeback
to whose dreams you hold

  I'll take a back seat
to your former life
  I cannot compete
you once were his wife

  I think of the future
held up by the past
  when I see your eyes
I know it could last

  Just take all the time
you need to be right
until then my friend
sweet dreams, goodnight
