They coil around us at some point
Or another, in our lifetime, unseen by the Human eye,
Yet making its cruel, icy grip felt among our souls
Like the piercing sound of a midnight bullet.

...We Feel...

Intangible, imaginary
Yet pulling, and tugging with enought weight
To pull us down, to drown in a sea of our own self-pity.

...We drown...

But we are strong, you and i
We make our own light at the end of the tunnel
We see misery as a lonely beast, wallowing in its own agony, and self-pity
We pull the chains taut, and break them like toys.

We are scarred, but we are ourselves again.

...We are free...

-"There is an exception to EVERY rule."
