Images of my sanctuary,
Skies of azure blue,
I lay on the grass,
And gaze into eternity.

My garden of the Gods,
Palm trees, statues and blooming flowers,
A shrine for those in tune,
Nature's temple within which is power.

Music,
Rhythms of the soul,
Lyrics and melody, astral projection,
Herein lies some semblence of control.

The written word,
Where wisdom abounds,
Each sentence or verse,
A beautiful sound.

Where the mountains meet the sea,
A walk through nature's bounty,
Skipping down the well worn trails,
A peace before unknown, begins to fill me.

Love,
The place where serentity dwells,
That feeling of warmth, contentment and safety,
Akin to riding the ocean swells.

All these and more,
Combine to make that place,
My personal sanctuary,
A place full of love, truth, wisdom and grace.

Isis

that was very nice... so many times i read everything in here and feel so melancholy afterward. this was a very nice change to a peaceful place.

This sounds like the most perfect place in the world. A place to relax to get away from this hectic world that we live in now. I really enjoyed this one. Maybe this place that you are painting a picture of for us is heaven. It sounds like maybe it could be.

p.s.~~~The little boy in the picture is so adorable!
