A desirable goal A tender meshing of two personalities and desires, of possiblities and dreams. Wouldn't ask for anything more of my dreams cause I found a shoulder to lean on at last it seems. A sucker for punishment is now thinking perhaps this life is not always so mean. Still wondering why after all I've been thru your attracted to me and I to you. Where will this friendship go? I am more than willing to give every possibility a chance to grow. Not afraid to reach for the stars thinking companionship would be a desirable goal. From that point its possible we have a wonderful chance for new feelings to put on a show. Remaining aware that I must stay cautious lest I move to fast. Still I hope our first embrace is never the last and I see a wonderful opportunity for romance approaching at last. "A sucker for punishment is now thinking perhaps this life is not always so mean." It's like that when love comes knocking on our door... Beautiful piece, enjoyed it a lot! |

Woah James! Superb poem "Not afraid to reach for the stars" Hmm... so many times people hold back, afraid to reach for those beautiful twinkling things in the sky... if they didn't they'd see they are full of laughter and beauty and just being "alive". I love this poem! I know exactly where you're coming from Take care! ~ Tara ~ "A poem should not mean, but be" - Archibald MacLeish |
