This is a little poem based on images I came up with in my head. The "Twin Towers" represent the people who are sane enough not to always be living for money and material possession, IE the "Ephemeral god". This poem basically conveys my hope that we will one day forget our petty differences and finally "walk among the stars" together. Twin towers that stand high into that Abomidable red sky will soon leave this place. But now they stand tall and dark, sentinels of and Era of carelessness and foolishness. Their tips just barely touch the pinkish clouds of The sky, where all is red and nothing lives. But one day, they will touch that sky, and beyond. For someday, we will leave this place. I long for that day, which seems never to come. What will happen on that day? I know not and Care not. For now, I must continue to worship the Ephemeral god, And fight like a savage animal in order to keep my Livelihood and sanity. But on the day those twin towers launch for the sky, I shall be in them, and I shall walk among the Stars, and appreciate their glory, for the first time. No longer will I have to fight, For the Ephemeral god will have been destroyed. |

I liked the ideas that lay behind this very much. I too feel caught in this grinding and reducing system based on money, consumption and exploitation. We are all symbiotes to this crushing system. Like you I hope to escape... someday. Good work. |

I think the message of this poem was outstanding. I love the way it was written and the wording. keep it up BUD! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
