Shadowless shadows, Dance in frightful flight Looming long, beckoning Victims of the night! Cryptic forms of words In hapless shape-shifts, Imbalanced moments Caused, as darkness lifts. Irrational, yet rational, Perturbing, yet unperturbed Moving, yet stilled, Disturbing, yet undisturbed! A nameless something, An unlighted scene, Made up of filth, Of things best half seen Seething and sundering The long, dismal night, When darkness suffocates, Given no strength for the right, The cracks of reality Grow wider and scream, The name of the nameless, Seen in death's dream. Shadowless shadows, Dance in frightful flight. Corrupting corpses, claiming Victory over the night! Desecrating, desires where fancies make blight the shape shifters move through the dead of the night. "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

very nice... the words fit together very well. i enjoyed the alliteration, and even the rhyme, something i'm not usually big on. |
