I can't say I'm sorry For telling you how I feel Though it was my heart Which I let you steal. I won't say that I regret For sharing with you my pain But I remember those promises Which now seem in vain. I can't tell you I don't miss you I dream of you through the night Remembering those nights together Holding on to each other tight. No way can I say I don't love you For now you remain within my soul But you turned away to me Leaving a dream empty but a mind full. I can't say I hurt for you 'Cause right now I'm hurting for me My love was real and genuine But you refused to see. I can't tell you I don't cry Because at night I still do Thinking of the times and promises That I have shared with you. I refuse to take any blame As all I wanted was your love You have no concept what it's like To be the only one thought of. How do you tell an angel Whose thoughts have run away That regardless of the pain they caused That you still love them anyway? Jeremy T.
