There's something nameless in the night that shapes nightmare from my dream it shreds my soul, takes trust from sight I have no mouth, but I must scream there's something obscene, within the dark that calls me to embrace and make an end it pierces peace, tears me apart asks me, to call, this darkness friend there's something hidden in the night that slithers across the floor it rends, is rank, takes great delight in plague spreading, of its spore there's something fearful in the dark no name has it… but terror stark "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
