WHEN YOU'RE NEEDED THE MOST Pushing you away, when I need you the most. Sitting in the rain, when you offer me a coat. Crying in my pillow at night, when I have your shoulder, & you to tell me it'll be alright. Sending you away, with words of sheer contempt. Telling you that everythings okay, when nothing ever is. Watching you believe my lies, though wishing I could say, what's really on my mind. Too scared of your reaction, criticism, or rebuff. Dealing with life all alone, can sometimes be tough. Pushing you away, when you're needed the most. "I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to lose. Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose." LOVE ELMO |

ahh..the "he who hesitates is lost" syndrome..been there..want to move forward but can't find the right gear..great images here.. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

qtpieelmo, Nice poem, I hope you get over that feeling.. Cuz I too have it at times. Dreams are the the gateways to making the impossible possible So many words, for the broken heart... |
