Have you ever had a dream
that grabs you in the night
It seems so real
and your mind seems to far
far away not wanting to grip
reality?
Last night the demons came to my dream
capturing me, such caos
felt so lost didn't know what to do.
I begged, and begged please go away
holding my sister next to me
they seemed to want to take us
I had to pray that God would
somehow take them away
I felt possessed by a demon
with such forces it made me scream
out loud.
I was awakened by my husband
who ask was I alright
I was so glad to be awakened
fear gripped my soul.
Have you ever been afraid to close your eyes
in the darkness just staring into it
in fear that your dream would pick up
where it left off?
I can tell you one thing
I'm glad the night is through
for I wouldn't want to enter
the gates of hell
and not be able to end this dream.
There is a higher power even in your dreams
that keeps you safe from all harm
for that's what I seen that even in my
dreams I was protected by the heavens
tears poured down my face
my heart was fluttering at such a pace
but when I awakened and seen that I could
breath I never was so happy in my life.

nightmares can be horrible!
..and it does feel good to wake up and realized that "it all" was just a bad dream.

yep nightmares can be nasty!! And it IS so nice to wake up and realise it was all just a dream. And some free advice (oh no!) LOL dont' create daytime/waking nightmares!!

I won't Iris you can believe that! I thought last night I might have one but made it through, watched the haunting, it was really scary.

Arent nightmares just the worse? I hate watching scary movies before I go to bed. I feel as if I am gonna dream about that. I just seen the haunting for the first time. And the last time. It was scary!

The state of my waking always depends on who is threatened in my nightmare and what the threat is. If I am the sole person being threatened I awaken with an adreniline rush and feel really good. If others i care about are threatened then when I awaken I am brought to think of their safety and try harder to let them know I care. I have one comment on the haunting. It was an exceptionally good movie and I enjoyed it.

I know one things for sure, nightmares send chills down your spine and make your hair stand on end, make you all clammy all over, and that's just beginning, I know you agree! thx for reading
