I stood on the tallest mountain And felt the breeze on my face I closed my eyes Imagined you here with me Heard the gulls calling... Your name. Heard the surf crashing Smelt the sweet pollen I shivered And opened my eyes My mouth fell open In wondrous surprise! You stood before me Arms open. I had come home... |

Ow I loved the images in this poem, quite haunting. really enjoyed reading it. Heard the gulls calling... Your name. Heard the surf crashing Smelt the sweet pollen I shivered And opened my eyes My mouth fell open In wondrous surprise! You stood before me ------------------------ "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "Libraries gave us power Then work came and made us free What price now for a shallow piece of dignity" Nicky Wire, A design for Life. manic street preachers "Rock 'n' roll is our epiphany Culture, alienation, boredom and despair" "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. |

What I like here is that it's impossible to tell which image is real and which fantasy (i think, am i wrong?). Uta Lotharingia "Wir wollen nicht Wert und Sinn ... wir wollen Unwert und Unsinn" Raoul Hausmann |

Wonderful imagery and feeling to this. What a homecoming in the arms of the one you love I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

very real, I love the way you write. similar to my style, I can see this poem very clearly. great job. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
