This is my soliloquy lots of hope and fantasy tinged with touches of delusion always loving an illusion. Wanting that which cannot be still my heart yearns to be free it chooses without my consent unto his soul it has been sent. Knocking, knocking, evermore hope he opens wide his door question why my life is fraught, turmoil all that I have wrought. This is how my life's comprised shreds of love and bounteous lies. On and on I try again in pursuit of happy ends. My second attempt of the day to say who I am, thanks to Deranger's challenge. |

I’m flattered that I have inspired someone! Yet the words so inspired are sad, lonely ones. I too, prefer a good illusion to harsh, merciless reality. Prize you shreds of love, for some don’t even have a shred. I feel like I have look into your eyes and plummeted through the recesses of your soul…thanks for the rush. ---------------------- Spreading insanity, one post at a time “Writing about darkness comes easily for me. To Deranger, thanks, I like it when someone sees that part of me. Isis, thanks for always being my friend. So much turmoil in life, it sure helps to share some of it. Sandra |

I'm glad you're like that cat Sensitive, artistic and hopeful. Where would we be if didn't believe in those fairy tales? Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

Great piece catalina! I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you for sharing this! Catalinamoon huh??? Are you from So. Cal. I'm from Huntington Beach and see Catalina Island almost every day when I drive to and from work. So the next time I see it I'll think of you. See ya! G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

Havn't been to dark passions in a while. I'm glad I dug back for this one. I always feel sad after lonley poems. Pardon me while I take my prozac. I hope some of your fantasies turn to realities. Unless of course the poem is the fantasy and your reality is perfect. Ahh I didn't think so. Nice write. forrest |
