Ignorance Becomes You Gloat on high; take your ruthless stance, arms akimbo; your superiority disguises an infallible face. So you think. While closing your senses to what stands before you, your moment passes. My worn denims and faded Tee have been discarded, replaced with fragranced lace. I pass with the moment, you can't keep pace. You dine at the head of the table, spoon in hand, waiting for me to place the napkin in your lap? So you wait-- Sip the soup of ignorance while the curling steam distorts me into submission, reciting by rote haughty words of grace. What you want me to be is not what I will be. When the soup lies congealed, steam disappears and gravy stains on your designer tie set permanently, all will be clear. Ignorance becomes you, while walking through the proverbial walk-through-that-and-don't- ever-come-back door, shoulders square, visions of taking control of my future making each step lighter... becomes me. ...chanson~ ~"Music, when soft voices die, Vibrates in the memory..." Attractive title. The Soup of Ignorance? Hmmm, to taste the soup, creates one so easily duped? AH! Philosophy! Whoa, that was scary! I think I’ll skip that late night meditation for awhile… Food for thought? Ah, There is goes again!!!
