Oh, what a wonderful time was had And such company made me so glad. Although everyone was reluctant at first They relaxed when I slaked their thirst. Then a push of a blade, a poisoned pin Playing a game I always win, Arsenic, cyanide, mandrake root, Hemlock, monkshood, mushroom shoot: Appetizers for one and all. 'My dear, your complexion's beginning to pall.' Her dress is ruined, with face like a goat, A ragged red choker across her throat. That man over there is puffy and blue, I guess he had too much special brew. The turntable's playing our favorite song; It's a pity that noone sings along. The night wears down, my party's dead; Just don't let it go to your head, And to show that I'm a true Gent You can all stay in my basement. We really, truly must do this again; Just bring yourself, I'll bring the gin, And though I've never been, might be mad, Oh, what a wonderful time I had. |

I liked this following lines And to show that I'm a true Gent You can all stay in my basement. Great work. Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

This is chilling, it sounds like a cross between a bad party and a murder..Very interesting set up. catalinamoon |

You really do have a cheeky sense of humour! I love the matter-of-fact-oh-what-fun tone here. It reminds me of a song by the Legendary Pink Dots (I know, no-one's heard of them ...), Lisa's Party Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |
