She sits cross-legged on the carpet; Wanting, her thoughts numb. Maybe the clamoring wave felt inside will subside to a whisper? Hours, minutes, days, seconds-- Time does not exist. Her stature remains unchanged. Goes unnoticed the receding wave. Hunger, thirst, warmth, cold-- Bodily functions do not exist. Her stature remains unchanged. Goes unheard the whisper. ...chanson~ |
