Giving In To It

She sits cross-legged
on the carpet;
Wanting,
her thoughts numb.

Maybe the clamoring wave
felt inside will
subside to a whisper?

Hours, minutes, days, seconds--
Time does not exist.
Her stature remains unchanged.

Goes unnoticed the receding wave.

Hunger, thirst, warmth, cold--
Bodily functions do not exist.
Her stature remains unchanged.

Goes unheard the whisper.

Wow! Deep indeed... but good!

Quite a beautiful poem if I must say so myself.
