bend a tired mind
to ease the pain
of a twisted soul

writing in agony

his swollen fingers
moving clumsily
over a dirty keyboard

forced by the need
to dispel; obliterate
the sadness within

Thank you LM. And after reading your poetry, I would say you have every reason to show off.

Compulsions to vent are a hell of a lot better, than damaging someone's ego, or hurting someone.  You have chosen the wiser path, as we all have.  And besides writing these feelings, may benefit you more than the obvious way, you might writer an absolute winner, and become a famous writer!!!   Every cloud has a silver lining.
Great words my friend

I agree silentsky, it doesn't quite ease the pain for me either. But it helps me tremendously to give voice to what's lurking within.

Thanks for reading

Hi Jonas,

I am not sure I have had the pleasure of reading your work yet so I welcome you and think this is a real keeper, what ever the reason to sit down and put on to paper our feelings it does open us up to a world that can do nothing but benefit us in so many ways, i'll be looking for more a your work.

Love, Cerenity

Thank you Cerenity. I'm afraid I haven't been around much lately...too many things going on. But I hope to visit more regularly now.
