10:07 PM 8/25/00 IF If I could see me through your eyes what would I see? Would I see a happy, smiling face? Or the hidden tragedy? Would I see past all the lies and veils that I put before my face? There to hide the heart that fails everytime I start the chase? Could I see the hurt I know so well measured in scars to see? A testament to the living hell that makes up what"s really me? Can I see the lines of suicide mapped along my arm? The ones I try so hard to hide Proof of my attempted self-harm. Is that haunted look still in my eye, the souvenir of my death? From when I really wanted to die going willingly with no regrets. Yes if I looked through your eyes who would I really see? The person who lived a life of lies? Or the soul that's finally free? Look back at your past, but don't stare too long.You might not like what you find |

I think that if we reflect too much on what other people see...it would slowly drive us insane... I can feel the sadness and the doubt in this LOTR...PLEASE, correct me if I am wrong...But I also see the Hope planted...WOW! I see a lot in your words here...Powerful piece. What I SEE through your eyes is someone that regrets the attempt at being lost but so much wants someone to really see him for who he is. Be a brave warrior and take on the world. For I can see this is what you want. Life is what you make of it. Don't let the world mold you. In writing you have created a beautiful masterpiece and in life you have surpassed and gone to even greater. Thank you for sharing. |
