Feather whispers, nibble gently at my periphery. Whispy scents of hushed voices flit about my mind's edge. Malignant uttterings concealed in benign mutterings. Suppressed whispers gnaw dilengently at my once, well-trained sentience. Deceiving my suburban reality with smoothly wicked circumlocution. Coniving locquacity worming through pedestrian comfort Sowing seeds of licention fertilizing the crop of growing iniquity. Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn. Hey, this was lost on page two, and I think it is very creative. Interesting use of words. catalinamoon |

I just read this for the first time (not counting when I wrote it), interesting use of words does seem to sum up this poem, indeed. Perhaps next time around I will write something actually worthy of literary consideration... ![]() Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn.
