Graduation Day of doom sadly arrived Escaping it for years I tried. Imagining the painful end Rain of tears have drowned my bed. Line of finish carries threat No way back, we'll pay the debt. Million things I have to part Like little pieces of my heart. All dressed up beside my friend Music playing , words are said. Heart still whole will overflow I notice you in second row. Eyes lost control, soul torn apart Life without you soon to start. Big bouquet my fingers clutch All shades of red you like so much. Mission now is crystall clear Say good-bye and hide the tears. Time runs out, go up the stairs People greeting, shaking hands. Though sad and painful, I'm aware Farewell to you - without compare. Loosing ability to speak As you get up and kiss my cheek. After that it's all a blur Can't remember anymore... |

LM What were you graduating from and who did you leave behind? Sad poem, heartfelt. Good write. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

I knew there's some explanation needed... Well I was graduating from school last year and leaving behind the man who has such an influence on my life... my teacher... But it didn't turn out as fatal as I thought back then [This message has been edited by LM (edited 08-25-2000).] |
