Awake foul moon to shed your light
for the dead shall dance tonight
hide 'neath covers, shake in fright
for the dead shall dance tonight.

Specters, zombies heed the call
hobgoblins, ghouls welcome all
shake the rafters bear the pall
as the dead dance through the mall

Arise o dead set grave-clothes bye
take those pennies from your eye
shriek and flitter, touch the sky
as the dead, go dancing by.

Caper dead, cavort and prance
this is the night for dead to dance
waking those who are in trance
this is the night for dead to dance.

On this one night the dead in pain
will waltz and spiral, all in vain
seeking out the higher plain
the dead will dance, come down like rain.

The dead will dance onto to the sea
looking for new victory
clapping hands, being set free
and the dead will dance with me.

Softly, softly comes the dawn
and the dead have danced and gone,
to the realm of great beyond
echoing resonance, lingering on

Left behind those worn out shells
who danced with dead to bitter hells
others dazed left by their spells
to uphold life, in altered cells.

but it is the loss that shapes the image,
gathers the flowers weaves the garland."-

Hi Kethry,

This was delightful, I don't know if that is what you were looking for you could sing it as well, this would be perfect for Halloween, very much enjoyed.

Love, Cerenity

Thanks Angel for your kind words.

Thanhks Cerenity - I wrote this when I was watching Drucula the ballet. I was thinking of all Hallows Eve and I partially remembered a story when the dead danced to the sea and took all in their path.

Oh this one RULEZ!!!

"It's close to midnight
and something evile's lurking from the dark
Under the moonlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream
But terror takes the sound
before you make it
You start to freeze
As horror looks you right between the eyes,
You're paralyzed
Coz this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast
about to strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You'e fighting for your life inside a
Killer, thriller tonight

Night Creatures Call
And The Dead Start To Walk In Their
Masquerade
There's No Escapin' The Jaws Of The Alien
This Time
(They're Open Wide)
This Is The End Of Your Life "
