My life seems to whirl around me like a hurricane...
And I am in the middle...the epicenter.
I try so hard to decipher what is real and what is fake, but the winds swirl in my mind and I cannot concentrate.
My tears they fall like raindrops, cold against my face.
It seems I am surrounded by a destiny of fate.
I feel so torn and broken with no one to relate,
to the feelings I feel inside this hurricane I call my life.
My younger years were the worst, that piece of me I've calmed.
But my here and now is filled with confusion,
I do not understand.
I wonder if I ever will have total piece of mind.
Or am I destined to a life of storms and delusion.
The answers I seek I realize no one can supply.
So I will simply wait out the storm in hopes I will survive.

I love this two lines.
The answers I seek I realize no one can supply.
So I will simply wait out the storm in hopes I will survive.

Awesome work. Great way of using nature as your mode of writing.

I like the way it came out, powerful and emotional. You've  hit a nerve with this one Dee

Look back at your past, but don't stare too long. You might not like what you find

I agree with xeonox, I loved particularly the two last lines. But it's a good poem in whole, thanks for sharing.

Dee, I am right there with you. This is a very emotional and expressive poem, and I liked those lines also..
