Silenced
Whistles have melted away,
Thistles in my fingers,

Long strings
connecting
entwined between the souls,

Plush,
delicious delusions

Touch me,
feel the whispers of thousands past.
Listen to the cries of souls alive
in my lips.

Everyone is staring,
dancing shoes stapled to my feet.

See me,
lifetimes spinning endlessly.
Prison walls
paper made of steel.

Breathe me,
women of life,
earth,
winds of caverns blowing silently

Thistles in my fingers,
the whistles all have melted away.
