Little Spirit Ride With Me Ride the air currents with me spread your wings little spirit, come see the world not as I did but free of the chains that manifest as life goes on. Open your eyes take in the beauty of this world before it is taken away from you. See what man has not yet touched, smell the freshness he has not yet poisoned, hear natures melody’s before they are cut off. Spread your wings little spirit ride the air currents with me. Understand the wisdom I am about to impart to you, do not forsake your own heart listen to its desires and act upon them. Let no one change the course in life you choose, follow it with pride and dignity. Listen to me little spirit do not let those you love kill your every dream, desires, your hopes, and most of all your spirit. Can you feel the freshness of the wind as it passes you, giving your body a slight chill but still being refreshing, that is how life should be full of experiences, some hot making the pulse race and some cold stopping your heart just for a moment but then resuming its beat, this is how your ride through life should be. Little spirit please remember all I have imparted to you, put this free girt of wisdom in your heart for safe keeping and do not ever loose sight of the beauty you have been shown for life can be what you make it, its all up to you. Come little spirit ride with me one last time to Luna's realm and then home sweet home we shall go, you and I, little spirit. By, Cerenity "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. We have to be reminded that He exist!" (Writer Unknown) |

Cerenity, this made me think of things I would want to say to my little granddaughter. I don't know who you meant it for, but what a wonderful gift. Take care. I liked the ride! In the beginning I thought this was going to be an upbeat version of Dickinson's, A Christmas Carol. I see this isn't where you went, your story is lite, airy, modern and good. Janie |

Good morning Sandra and Janie This poem is my way of telling yonger souls that the world can be a very harsh place, but if they listen to thier hearts and good judgement there could be a good chance they will enjoy life and not do what I did and let others run thier lives. Thank you so much for your kind replys. Love, Cerenity "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. We have to be reminded that He exist!" (Writer Unknown) |
