On a drive home I see My life in front of Me, A tooth I have grown, An embroidery Iv'e sewn, My first day at school, The breaking of a rule, A boy I have kissed, A loved one Iv'e missed, A daughter who came from a love so untamed, Her first steps in summer, Oh how I do love her, I see her grow, Watch her play.. Wait, an animal up ahead in My way. I swerve to miss The instance has passed. I rush home to hold The one wh will last. |

~It's frightening how quickly things can happen and change for us. This poem got me thinking about just that. Great work. Take care. *Peace. |

Hey! This is wonderful. I love the way you highlight the transitory nature of things. Let's all go and make the best of what we've got while we've got it. Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

Sash. Loved the "Kodak" moment. So glad it wasn't the last frame and you were able to return home. Good poem. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
