I see anger fly between man and woman And my own fear climbs its trellis Inside. Does she have that one lump in Her throat? Does she hope he doesn't get that one look In his eye, like I used to? I am trying SO HARD To believe good exists in More than not. Always hearing don't worry There are good ones out there Yeah surrrrrreeeeee there are... They are just locked up, married Or gay. Don't 'spect one will come my way In time to save me from Hell today. Tomorrow is but a promise, So should He take me in His night, My fears will be proven right. I shall die unloved Uncherished, Unknown. Simply me..... Oh boy, you said it! In particular, they are all married....Great expression of that unappreciated feeling. Why don't they love us better?? |

You know I could say a lot of things you have already heard but for now, I'll tell you of an old couple that I chased down to ask them how they had been in love for so long, you see I saw them in the restaurant sitting close and they had a lot of room, her head wasn't even above the back board and his was as bald as an eagle. And so old it didn't seem possible, and when they walked out to the car he held her hand, hell I just had to ask them. They said communication was the trick every night, even if they disagreed they kissed every night and said I love you. yes Kynder love is alive and out there, but you must love yourself first. Not saying you don't it was something I had to do after a 20 year marriage down the drain. I'm going to win my fight!!! you know what that is. Anyway. you have a lot of friends here at passions and some men to boot. I just hope I can be one of them.?? Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

hmmmmm maybe i should edit my poem and say every man but a dark passionate one!! hee hee!! i love everyone for their comments. and yes joel, you are right, self love is the key. thank God it didn't take me 20 years!! just 7!!!! never married tho!!! kinda ruined me for it, but i still have hope. sometimes!!!!!!!!  and boy it feels great to have friends!!!!!!!!!! and i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is TRUE friends i have here. love to all.kynder |

~Kynder,...*Sigh*,..glad that I caught this after you commented to some of the replies...just to know that you have some bit of hope and do know what Joel said about self love is true. It puts you up somewhere I thought I had to pull you to...ok, that may make no sense, but what I am trying to say is that,..your poem is heartfelt and sort of has this little lack of hope going on at the end...which made me kinda sad...so I was thinking I would send you some of my chatter to try and make you see some sunshine and to let you now of all that's out there...but it seems you have a grip on yourself...and this. ANYWAY....haha...I my friend am here for you. I think we should talk sometime....seems there's a bit we have in common. Thank you for sharing this bit of you and please excuse my rambling...it's all straight from the heart though...no fake or coated words from this mouth. Please take care. *Peace. |
