Searching for the elephant She wants to arrive, But is too scared to travel, And she continues to wonder about life. A hopeless struggle, For she sees but won’t acknowledge. And they say it’s a waste of her oh so limited time, And for fear of the boogie monster Hiding inside her, She walks all crooked With her feet in her head. And everything she sees Is strange and twisted, Hiding behind cupboards and under the floor. She picks up the planks, And peers down, searching, Expecting to uncover something unknown, But all of this looking and searching for something, Is just a pointless racking, Of her dark and empty head. |

silentsky, I liked the lines which said she want's to arrive but is afraid to travel, but if she's looking for that elephant under the floorborads she doesn't know much about elephants. She needs to look in the Smartie box. Eamil me if you don't understand, it's Australian humor. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
