Boy lost

Congratulations
You’re a mommy
You’re a daddy
It’s a baby boy
Baby boy cries

Frustration
Daddy takes to drinking
Mommy’s heart is sinking
I’ll be the man thinks little boy
Little boy tries

Incrimination
Daddy you did this to me
Mommy you should have left and be free
I’ll block this out says teenage boy
Teenage boy buys

Capitulation
Dad I can’t stand the site of you
Mom I’m sorry for what I’m about to do
I can’t live with what I’ve become
Young man dies

Kat,
there was never a truer word spoken than in this poem. Thanks for not being indifferent about posting this poem

Very true...I know how parents can treat their kids badly. I really liked it.

Hi Kat,

I have a friend who lost her son in the same way and if you listen to her she doesn't even really know why he did it and would never take even a fraction of the blame in her case though it is just a repeat of what she went through as a child but that does not make it any easyer or better. You caught the true reality to this subject wonderful.

Thanks, Cerenity

Cerenity:  I'm glad you felt I caught the true reality of this subject. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It's sad that anyone has to feel pain like that. Thanks for responding and your compliment.
