Walk with me,
There’s a long shadowed pathway;
Care to see?

Forest edge of the old wood,
Seldom there,
And from there, I’ve heard no good.
There’s a long shadowed pathway,
Always dark,
Creeping dark, in brightest day.
Following in the grayness,
Eyeless sight,
Sounds not sight, all is sameness.

Do you hear the whisper sounds,
Feel the air that’s closing in,
And moisture rises from ground;
Wearing insect bitten skin.

An old wood,
Dankness of many ages,
Puddle trail,
Touch and smell,
Fullness that causes rages,
Dismal wood.

What’s beyond?
What does the path lead you to,
Why the care,
Why go there,
You really don’t know do you?
What’s beyond?

Shadow path,
Entering in epitaph.

i like your style, it's eerie,
i love the land of shadows, how
else can we appreciate the light!

Gloom overshadowed by darkness with a creeping sense of horror. It gave me the chills, cause I know where that path leads.
Good poem nice metre.
Be well

Creepy but beautiful. I can feel the moistness of the pathway and its shadows travelling through the skin and departing through a tear. Wonderful.

Thank you, MMoonchild,
Sometimes just there travel down the path is all we know,
Where we came from, how we got here, where we go,
All is lost in the putting one foot in front of the other,
Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Thank you, boji stone
My land is of shadows, it’s the windows,
How I look out into the world around,
Glad you can enjoy my words, some what dark,

Thank you, Kethry
Darkness isn’t always horror, some of the worst
Is done in the brightness of day.
I am pleased you walked
a bit of my pathway with your reading.

Thank you, ilph
For your kind response, glad you enjoyed
The walk with my words.
