She cries to be his golden
Goddess.
Tall, proud, perfect
Goddess.
Unashamedly naked
Goddess.
Satin skin and hair of silk
Goddess.
Wine drenched lips, drops of passion
speak his name
Goddess.
Eyes glow with desire,
untouched by time
Goddess.
Rather the Goddess of Imperfection
rises to meet him.
Tentative,
more silver than golden
Goddess.
Love overflows as a marble pitcher too full.
She steps into his arms
the magic touch
transforms.
The Goddess of Imperfection
glows with the golden light
of perfect
love..

Another beautiful job Cat, you have a way of saying so much in so few words. Adding this to my favorites for sure.

Look back at your past, but don't stare too long. You might not like what you find

i believe that as humans we all strive to be perfect.. but when we experience love, we reach perfection anyway because love is perfect.. nice poem, catalinamoon.

Beautiful, beautiful poem, Cat. I hold that imperfection is far more exciting than perfection anyway!

WOW Cat, an stunning poem, excellently written, in true love all imperfections become perfection.
