You have your will, your demons that pass, forever you shall ride that haunting you must have. Of desperate streets that lend a sacred view of nights enjoyed with drunken eyes askewed. To the lane you shall always call your home, of presents taking you fill your soul with now. At 23, you were used and allowed your trip to wane, the trip that follows you is the one who new your name. Did she bless you for you patience or simply laugh at your will. Did she crumple your foolishness like those before you fell. So here you stand on your corner throne, twenty cents left to go for the Night Train you could own. And this night that gives you your solitary pain, is the night that will haunt you, from this day foward again. |

very true indeed a message is here for all. I myself indulged to the point where I did not remember what happened. Alcoholism is a easy way out. So easy to be excepted with it. I myself know I can not drink IS a poison to my soul, mind and body. [This message has been edited by Rosebud1229 (edited 08-12-2000).] |

So here you stand on your corner throne twenty cents left to go. I particularly like these lines. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
