She Paints With Blood In a most naked room with stark white walls she paints in blood of the anger that seethes inside the cavity of her. Bare and hollow screams of hate echo bounce, shatter and fall off walls she's painted with the fuel of her being. She paints with hands as rough as stone with blood wine from the sores from the open cries. Some very abstract pieces some intricate little words woven, in messages in this secret room of her hate, of her cries locked in rage, caged up cries. She beads with sweat in nights at work her liquid life upon walls of ears, until fatigue arrives and sends her crashing body weak and broken to the floor. The cold and moist and hardened space where she sleeps with filthy hands and stained face. Where her breathing skips a breath and her chest jumps to catch it, she's slipping far,... and she's letting it happen, she's ill tonight. Spitfire, I think paint is much healtier. I think we do paint with blood, we also write with blood, and some times we let ourselves bleed or let others bleed us. Life can be a blood sport at times. I am just rambling here shocked and in awe at your words. All I can say is WOW. THat is a loud and breathless WOW. Wow, SF, this seems angrier than usual, and I sense frustration here. Or were you just writing about me.. Fantastic poem, cat... |

Rock, you do...and yes you do paint with blood...I love how you just bare your soul in your writings...I remain an ever watchful, ever reading fan...you are too cool. The lack of moral judgement is so refreshing. |

Fire, this poem is "bloody terrifying". I can say that cause I'm an Aussie. *smiles* Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Zounds...very intense. The narrator sure has witnessed a bizarre form of cathartic release. Irregardless, this was a very magnetic poem: it pulled me right in. Alicat |

SF, Wow, what power here. I know you have been through much my friend. Glad to see you writing out the pain. Great writing here. We have to catch up soon. Take care you. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
