Butterfly in flight. powdery, paper thin, wings. One touch of fingers, ruins your gift of flight, forever. Killing germ, introduced. Arranged, and put on display. Beauty, preserved forever, never to be corrupted. Only you were cheated, of your life, when captured. Click |

Click, though I know this has a much more extensive meaning, it brought to mind my trauma as a child when I was shown butterfly collections. I was always horrified at the callous pinning of the wings, the apparent indifference to the death. Awesome poem. Images so clear you could touch them catalinamoon |

Click, I have to agree with Catilinamoon. I could see those delicate wings pinned and how sad it made me feel. Well done. Juls |
