Often I have been told, You cannot love someone you cannot see. How can this be true? When I love him so. I might have believed this, But then I met him. He filled my days and nights with the most wonderful thoughts and words. Made me so happy, and made me see hope. And then he was gone. Disappeared in an instant. Almost like he never existed. Without so much as goodbye. My imagination ran wild, thinking where could he be? Or was I just a passing fantasy? I hoped and I prayed that he wasn't hurt. I tried so hard to give him my trust. But, I cried like a baby, nursing my broken heart. If you cannot love someone you cannot see, Then how could my heart feel so much pain? I believe I can relate to this for to love is the most human characteristic we all share, sometimes it's easier to fall in love with something or someone that is not real for you can make them whatever you want them to be. |

Dee this sure brought up some emotions in me. And I think you can certainly fall in love with someone you can't see. Maybe it's even easier that way. Sure hope you're ok. Beautiful poem. Juls |
