Please Just Let Me Be Rolling fruit down paths of stone to waters seasoned true- Where fields of warmth and blankets green, caress the sticky skins. In pages torn and scattered- blowing through the dream with words upon the wind's disease and pastel shyness trees. I'm falling with the mushroom caps- that cover time before. I fumble for the opening to silence and the same. To sterile glass and unfought wars to wounds of healing due. Crawling through the thickness- of days in darkness worn. To simple streets in simple times- to sands of weightless free. Reaching, screaming empty cries please just let me be. [This message has been edited by SpitFire (edited 08-07-2000).] |

Just let me be…what a powerful wish. Imagery is simply stunning. Nice work, take care. ---------------------- Spreading insanity, one post at a time |

Oh, another beauty. Love the imagery here, and the way you write always feels so good to me. Cat.... |

Oh yes beautiful I love the line: "with words upon the wind's disease and pastel shyness trees" and ... well, all of it! Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

"Please just let me be".....if only they would! God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |

Oh Fire you have such a way with words. Loved with words upon the wind's disease. Be well. Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- Cole |
