THE EFFECTS OF COMMON HURT: Thoughts shared, hearts bared You and I as one Changed forever, still together Closer we become How I tried through tears I cried To show a deeper me It's harder now, strange somehow For our friendship just to be Though things have changed, our love remains Deeper than before For I could show and now you know The life at my core But it seems to me, retrospectively We've lost our open strength We can't relate, discuss, bebate Our common hurts spent Does the real me scare you? |
