i wrote this for jeremiah johnson after we first met...because he is amazing.

~Regrets~

i knew i would get more than i expect,
and now i only regret
not holding you in my arms,
away from a world of harm.
we share a passion,
and that caused us to meet.
and now m'lord i beg of you,
i gravel at your feet,
please say that you'll stay,
and not leave me alone.
now youre so far away.
and i wish that i had known
not to fall for words like like yours,
because i'll miss you
while your gone.

Jeremiah is one lucky poet. You have way with words that I cannot even began to describe my friend.

WELL Nikolette it's been a long time since i've been around on netpoets and since i haven't seen any new posts from you, it looks the same i only hope you get this reply since i've returned for a time between deployments to the giant sandbox we call the well you know.
