there's a creeping darkness growing in my belly an insideous monster consuming all in its path staining it like the giant tumor that stretched my father's skin swelled him up first he just looked pregnant then, grotesque by trout season he was like a beached sea lion taught motionless my skin feels tight like some viable flesh remains, loosing being covered stained unaccessible the darkness is all i can reach alone, yet two fair haired, fair skin waifs can fight it, beat it with a single "I love you, Daddy" without them i'm beached |

Such a dark sounding poem, and a sweet ending. Good stuff. Catalinamoon |

~Oh my,...this is heaping with emotion. Full of images difficult to look at as they cause the heart to feel heavy. Those little ones,...are blessings. Be well G. *Peace. |

I can not explain why or how, but this touched me deeply. Lovely! "There is an alter ego which dwells in every soul..." a-alibaster "I am as I am, nothing more, nothing less, I am tears of pain, tears of Death. |

a very dark and interesting poem. REally really enjoyed reading this poem. "I am melancholy, flower cutting through stone" manic street preachers |
