THAT WAY: A misunderstanding clear as day I never intended it this way We see these things so differently With heinsight, retrospectively One by one, events ocurred Yet, communications we misheard Causing us to blindly go Without establishing what we know You don't know me or how I share Love and trust for whom I care The way I speak, the way I act Shows only me, and that's a fact I guess I thought you understood That through all and over time we could Remain trusting, caring, as friends should stay But I guess you didn't see it that way. |
