Beneath this moon of discontent breathes a beast with fowl breath. Holding what is left of life chest heaving close to death. A chain woven between his ribs piercing his heart to the ground. Holding his tortured soul to the bloody spilt sound. Chain wrapped around his muzzle can’t emit a natural cry. As the moon watches on and the pine trees sigh. Brave hearted he sought love again this mighty beast of once untold. Gave up his heart to loves chance letting it be taken by a lovers bold. An impossible dream of finding love again. Irreparably damaged heart with chains grinding his soul thin. Breath in slow drawn out measures with head hanging low. Imprisoned to this chain of dried tears in sorrow and woe. Looking to the dark side with no reprieve in sight. Eyes of the forest await hungrily on this dark carnivores night. This shackle wolf once adorned and enlightened in love searching now for a glimpse of White Dove Joel. ------------------------------ The "fowl"=W.D. was intentional I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

"An impossible dream of finding love again. Irreparably damaged heart with chains grinding his soul thin." Very touching writing. I don't know what to tell you. Sometimes I believe that love only exist in our dreams yet I have hope that it is real. I understand your desire to wait for a month, a year, some years, yet a lifetime seems too long to me...I have the hope that love travels with us to our new destinations. James |

~Joel,...I know that I already commented on this to you via ICQ but, I felt like saying here that I am always telling you that your work is real or moving or whatever,...but I am not sure that I ever tell you that I enjoy reading it. Honestly though,...I do. I have learned so much about you through your writing and this poem just speaks volumes of your heart. Please take care...and keep those fingers of your's flowing ,..those huge hands on that tiny keyboard....be gentle you. haha. Love ya. *Peace. *BTW,...this was post 777 for me...haha, lucky sevens....let's just hope....for you and me. haha. [This message has been edited by SpitFire (edited 06-19-2000).] |

Yes your right JJ, my poetry isn't hard to ?? fallow. I often make mistakes on words and there meanings but no one has told me so and I know I have. Part of the book. maybe. If they can stand a poet with bad grammar, no education, and all heart.?? maybe. and big fingers. hahah as spit has said. James, my friend, where have you been?? Yes James it will be impossible for me to love again, I say this with age and knowledge knowing me, I will never do this again, sure I'll play the field but not to this depth. never again. to much pain when it doesn't go right. Nancee, your wandering soul is welcome anytime. Thanks D.K.W. Spit you are a dear soul to me. Yes I understand that about my poems I seem to get more people crying for some. my poems are easy to fallow, it's not a big adventure in mental stress to know what I tell in them, but the pain is almost unbearable, and I try to express it is so many ways, with sound with smell and feel, and ethereal specters. So thank you all for the visit, and the warm comments, and the help in this dark hour of mine. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Sad, dark, and very very deep!! I liked this!! Bridgette "Creation of woman from the rib of Man: She was not made from his head to top him; nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him; but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved." -Unknown |

The Archetype, The number one,The vanguard of the clones. Crossing over busy street, where noisy traffic drones, Walks Blazer Dyke (without a bike), The vanguard of the clones. The autocrat, The ectomorph, The vanguard of the clones. He strides across the cobbled yard, Where pawn shops offer loans, That Blazer Dyke (Whom i dislike), The vanguard of the clones. The cannibal, The parasite, The vanguard of the clones. He passes through the wicket gate, To churhyards full of bones, That Blazer Dyke (on a midnight hike), The vanguard of the clones. The necrophile, The narcissist, The coprophage, The sybarite, The telepath, The Anti-Christ, The vanguard of the clones. Robert Rankin (The Dance of the Voodoo Handbag) |
