Best friends forever we'd always say, never knowing "forever" would end someday, now I sit here crying, I miss you so bad, all I have left is the picture on the wall and the memories we've had, don't you worry about me, I'll be fine, your life is over and done now I have to finish mine, I'm writing this I guess to let you know, there's still a part of you that I'll never let go, and as I place this red rose on your headstone, I realize that I'm now all alone... |

I LOVED this poem. i had a friend die a few years ago, a best friend, a boyfriend, and i miss him with all my heart. this poem reminded me of how i was when he died. i actually cried over him again, it has been a long time. your poem really touched me, thank you for sharing it. i wrote a poem about my friend a few days ago if you want to read it i think i called it "i had to say good bye" i hope it touches you the way your poem did me. |
