a mute voice speaks to me an unseen tear brushes me but no one is near that I can see a foreign hand touches me an unheard laugh passes me but no one is far that I can see Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

yes they do touch us in so many ways, mentally with a tear, and physically with a hand. Reaching out. telling us they are still here for us. great and spooky. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Hmm... a good one this! I didn't actually take it as a "ghost". It reminded me of things gone (and to me, that could only have been, like, 2 minutes ago - haha), which brought back all the ghosts of the past Haunting words though |

hi! thanks for all your replies! I've actually decided to change the title of this poem to "The Visitor". Allows for more interpretations! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Ghost, Visitor, - the metaphoric context is wonderful regardless |
