Why can't you see? Your just like them! My tears still fall from their knives -in my back. For to them kisses mean nothing. Best friends, what are they? Still my tears fall down my tender face, like the dreaded rain falling upon petals of pink dasies. They say the rain is good, it helps them to grow. But,as the rapid drops fall on the dasies soft petals, they will tell you straight out "It hurts." Yet, we look at them with such envy; not knowing their pain. For in their beauty... lies heartache and strength. They need their tears to grow. Yet, they will die from someones touch. One who knows not its pain, only covets all its love. Why must all loves die, like the flower's? For the flower never knows- its final fatal hour. |

Tasha... what an excellent poem. I love the line about the rain needed to help daisies grow, yet it is painful to them. It is so true that many growing experiences hurt deeply. Keep it up.. you have superb talent. |

Very nice images here. I like the way you express the inevitable. 'For the flower never knows- its final fatal hour' This echos my signiature line. Well done. Sing while you may |

Tasha, I voted on this. I found it very touching, soft, and full of meaning. Excellent work!! The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose...--Hada Bejar |
