I'm Drowning In A City I'm drowning in a city, with yellow streets and tomato plants, with stained glass and string. I'm drowning in a city, with plastic faces, purple swirled lies, depths of pain and concrete. I'm drowning here, with coffee stains and pink rain puddles, with sidewalks and smoke. I'm losing the battle, with oarless boats and cobblestone paths, with tangles and fruit and you,... I'm drowning in a city. [This message has been edited by SpitFire (edited 07-28-2000).] |

Drowning in a city, or drowning in a flat in a city. A lot of pictures here, fire. Liked it a lot! Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

Hope that all is well for you. Miss you. ![]() LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Great imagery. I like it a lot. I could almost feel the city taking my breath away. I specially liked the title. Kethry Kethry. When dark of night steals your soul. Think of me and be made whole. |

I like the images here. Its funny how all of the colours of a city tend to run together into grey. Well, in Cincinnati anyway. Sing while you may -The Prophet Q'spel Your pain is for you alone As it is As it was As it will be forever Amen -The Prophet Q'spel |
