TRUE LOVE LOST

Love hurts,
I've been there B4,
but not like this,
never felt so sore.

This time it's different,
my heart really broke.
Holding back tears,
making me choke.

Never knew true love,
until it was gone.
Now I can't find,
where I belong.

Lost in a world,
can't hold on.
Wishing the end,
was closer apon.

Looking for a shoulder,
someone to trust.
Noone will listen,
I'm gonna bust.

Why couldn't I share,
feelings I keep within?
I tried many times,
but couldn't even begin.

Why couldn't I open up?
That's all he asked for.
He looked for the key,
when I locked my door.

i've been there before. it's a feeling you can't get rid of. you think about the person all the time and whatever you see reminds you of them. you keep thinking "if only i had told him everything would be different" and you heart feels like it's ripping in half. it tears you apart inside and you feel like you can't live. i thought this poem was excellent! very expressive. i look forward to reading more of your poems!
