The Corner Table ( Rubaiyat Sonnet) Sitting still silences fills the air, In shadow of sorrow’s despair, Lost in mood he’ll just brood the night, Drinking wines as he pines his care. Smokers share clouding air from light, Cloak of shade that smoke made hides sight, But never endeavor to see, The others his brothers of night, They don’t wish to exists or be, The come here to drink beer and flee From the sight of those light beings, They are all of reality. Drink so deep make minds sleep freeing, Close those eyes that won’t cry seeing. Gloom 2000 |
