Your eyes Capture my heart And shame the sky in their blueness Your skin Fuses with mine Nerves I never had awaken How can I not love you? All you are is all of me We speak with the same mouth Cry with the same eyes Even though your face never betrays your heart koi kokoro Your hands Catch me at the edge of passion I've never been so helpless before Your voice Realizes a beauty As I have never experianced How can I not love you? I will always yeild To the moistness of your tounge To the tenderness of your lips Even though you're tearing apart my will-power koi kokoro How can I not love you? All you are is all of me We speak with the same mouth Cry with the same eyes Even though your face never betrays your heart koi kokoro Your scent Lingers on my skin Even after you're gone ****************************************************Note- I had some help with the tital from a friend....As I said, I don't know Japanese too well. Koi means "intense love" or...*giggle* it also means "carp". Kokoro means "awakening" as far as I know. -Wren |

Your scent lingers on my skin...such beautiful words, and a beautiful poem!! Loved this, wonderful imagery also. The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose...--Hada Bejar |

Wren, this is so beautiful. Can feel the situation unfolding, the love, the desire. Very powerful. |

~Wren,...aaahhh, *soft sigh* to the last part...."Your scent Lingers on my skin Even after you're gone". Wonderful work,...also like to say that I so enjoy the little splashes of Japanese that you so skillfully toss into your poems. I once wrote my whole reply to you in Japanese but I erased it and rewrote it in English. Oh well. Take care W. *Peace. |

Wren, I think this may be the best thing you have ever written. "All you are is all of me We speak with the same mouth Cry with the same eyes" It speaks of such a lovely forbidden-feeling devotion. Wonderful. "And one day...the whole stinking world would be theirs..." -- Velvet Goldmine (Todd Haynes, Oscar Wilde and, unofficially, David Bowie) |
