THE MOMENT TO TREASURE

             Don’t say a word, darling
             ‘Cause I understand
             Your pretty eyes are
             Lost beneath the weary skies.

             Please enjoy this moment
             We both longed for
             Though this can not last
             It’ll remain in my heart.

             Whether you remember
             The things you said
You will hold onto my soul
             Lest it wanders astray.

             The gaze of your eyes
Catches the last of crimson clouds
             Here in my dream
             I shall treasure all.

- James
P.S, thanks to the support of my dearest friend, Lynne, who urged me to post this one in this forum, most of you should have seen this one before, in the Corner Pub.

Version 1.02 (Wonder changed to wander. hehe, thanks you, Lynne for your ever-growing criticizm on my poems and also I thank all others in this forum)

- James
The beauty of nature is displayed,
not through itself,
but through the creatures
dwelling within its bosom.

Description of a very intimate intense moment. Holding on to that kind of dream is truly a treasure. Very good writing!

I just read your poem in the book, James.. I'm sorry your title was misunderstood, 's a shame, but your poem is still just as good.   Man, it is so neat reading all the poems of poets I know, published together..

It's nice to share - kiss someone when you have a cold.
