WISH UPON A STAR < !signature-->Nature’s song, as always whispers gently amongst the trees on the ridge. The old owl we nursed three winters ago hoots in harmony from the roof over the bridge. Nature’s melody waifs upon, softly the spring night calm, gently warm. Full moon illuminates the meadow ripples the pool where the frogs are born. Her song stirs the grass like waves or wake of phantom leopard in stalk. We sit in comfort, serene, peaceful as we commune with our silent talk. Humans never seem to fit, excluded somehow, never really part of the song. It's as if critters, earth, even stars would rather not have us along. We sigh in resignation, understanding accept and appreciate as always from afar. Enjoy as outsiders, the symphony of nature whisper, “I love you!” and wish upon a star. bleeding... Daniel~ Such a joy to read. The serenity of 'nature's song' is told so beautifully in your verses. 'We sit in comfort, serene, peaceful as we commune with our silent talk.' Heavenly ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Written with a passion! We can enjoy the serenity of nature, but never quite seem to be a part. Great writing |

Very nice. I love nature myself. To go on a walk in the woods and sit and enjoy what God has given us. Who needs movies when you have nature. LITL, Heather With God all things are possible. |
