how close was i to heaven... how right it felt to touch the sky. i almost held a star in my hand-- but i blinked and the star fell away. my heart turned blue... my soul fell empty. i must close my eyes to heaven, recoil into the palm of my hand, where only i will hold me-- and only i will know the season of my soul... --dgvarner "i speak in written word--my lips, no sound may utter..." dgvarner |

DGVarner~ This has an ache about it ... may someone see your star and make a wish on it. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
