how close was i
     to heaven...
how right it felt
     to touch the sky.
i almost held
     a star in my hand--
but i blinked
     and the star fell away.
my heart turned blue...
my soul fell empty.
i must close my eyes
     to heaven,
recoil into the palm
     of my hand,
where only i will hold me--
and only i
     will know
the season of my soul...

DGVarner~
This has an ache about it ...
may someone see your star and
make a wish on it.

Dee that's what a meant, the difference between Picasso and a painter and decorator, they both paint, but........ and that's the difference. Well done, it's beauty, in every line! Guess now everyone knows I like this!
