Darkness has fallen, but the night is still so bright. Dancing in the shadows of the moonlight tonight. Music playing softly, as we take another sip of wine. I see the twinkle in your eyes, as I catch them watching mine. The mood of the night is so peaceful and serene. This mystical moment is almost like a dream. The sensation of this evening stirs a passion deep within. As I hear your soothing whisper carried on the gentle wind. And as this midnight escapade continues to unfold. We find within each other, a treasure to behold. As our shadows from the moonlight dance upon the wall. Together we will savor the enchantment of it all. |

this is such a wonderful piece... there is always something about that moonlight...and night then the wine very romantic.. well written If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Avanti Rao |

I remember this challenge. (?)"In the moonlight, shadows dancing?" I'm sorry I missed this piece! You've created a very beautiful, romantic, wonderful poem from it! Great job! I really enjoyed this one, as for a moment, I was in a different place |

Eloise... I love love poems that use the night as its setting.. moonlight is always so wonderfully intoxicating, I often sit in my garden to find the feeling that's described so vividly by your poem.. thanks!!! - James The beauty of nature is displayed, not through itself, but through the creatures dwelling within its bosom. |
